Princeton women’s hockey defeated Brown and Yale over the weekend to start the season 4-0. The Tigers defeated Yale 4-3 on Friday and Brown 3-0 on Saturday.
Friday’s win over Yale saw the Tigers fall down 3-2 in the third period, but Kelsey Koezler tied the game. Fiona McKenna scored the game-winning goal, while Kimberly Newell made 17 saves. Stephanie Sucharda and Kimiko Marinacci also scored their first collegiate goals in the win.
Koezler had two goals on the weekend, as she added tally in the win over Brown. Cassidy Tucker and Morgan Sly also scored in the victory, and Sly now has three goals on the season. Alysia DaSilva started for Princeton and made 16 stops in her first win of the season.
