Princeton Splits Weekend Series With Cornell And Colgate

Princeton split its weekend series with Colgate and Cornell in its home opener.

On Friday, the Tigers were leading Cornell 2-1, but the Big Red scored twice in 1:16 minutes to take the game. Taylor Woods scored both goals for the Big Red, who handed Princeton its first loss of the season. Kiersten Falck scored Princeton’s only goal of the game. Alysia DaSilva made her second start and finished with 28 saves.

The Tigers rebounded on Saturday with a 3-2 win over Colgate. Kimberly Newell earned the start, making 32 saves. Freshman Karlie Lund added two goals while Kelsey Koelzer netted the game winner.
