Princeton Hockey Recruit Roundup

Here’s this week’s Princeton hockey recruit roundup:


Max Becker returned from an injury and played both games over the weekend. He recorded an assist in Salmon Arm’s win.


Smith Falls’ Neil Doef committed to Princeton on New Year’s Eve for 2016. He recorded two multi-point games over the week, scoring two goals on Friday and two assists on Sunday, both Smiths Falls wins.

Ryan Kuffner returned to Gloucester over the past week, netting an assist. Fellow Princeton  recruit scored a goal Connor McLaren added a goal in the Ranger victory.

Prep School:

Joe Fallon was named the Gunnery’s Player of the Game as the Highlanders beat NMH 5-3 in the title game at Cushing Academy’s New Year’s Tournament. Fallon was also named to the All-Tournament Team.


The Bulls won all three of their games over the week. Joe Grabowski netted two assists on New Year’s Eve and another helper on Saturday. His multi-point game on Dec. 31 was his first since Nov. 8. Stuart Pomeroy sat twice over the week.


Michael Lackey backstopped the USNTDP U17 team to a WU17 title. Lackey made 12 saves in the championship game.

Eric Robinson recorded an assist in Dubuque’s 3-0 win over Lincoln on Friday but did not play on Saturday.

Tony Calderone recorded an assist in Sioux Fall’s New Year’s Even win over Fargo, snapping a five-game pointless streak.

Matt Nelson recorded an assist and a goal over the weekend as Omaha lost to Des Moines and beat Lincoln 8-1.
