Princeton Hockey Recruit Roundup

This week, a pair of Princeton hockey recruits Neil Doef and Ryan Kuffner headed to Canada’s WJAC Selection Camp with Canada East. Doef is tied for the CCHL lead in points with 45, while Kuffner is tied for the goal lead with 20.

The Tigers received a commitment from Merritt defenseman Josh Teves, the only defensemen out of the current recruits.

Spencer Kryczka did not play over the week.


Teves recorded a goal and an assist in a 8-7 loss to Victoria on Saturday. He added an assist in Merritt’s 8-5 win on Sunday


Before heading to Canada’s camp, Doef recorded a goal on Tuesday and an assist on Thursday. On Friday, Doef scored two goals and added an assist for his fifth three-point game.

Joey Fallon recorded the game-winning goal in Gloucester’s Sunday win. Max Veronneau is listed as inactive and has not played since Nov. 2.


Colin Tonge recorded his first OJHL goal on Thursday. He also added an assist in the win, marking his first multi-point game. Tonge recorded an assist on Sunday.

Alex Riche recorded an assist in Monday’s win and added a goal in Cobourg’s 10-1 win over Mississauga on Saturday.


Austin Shaw played in Wichita Falls’ 8-2 win over Corpus Christi on Saturday. He finished with 22 saves.


Josh Melnick recorded an assist in each game over the week, and is now on a three-game point streak.
